Recipes with Oyster sauce

I've got full bottle of never used oyster sauce, and it's expire date is.. going to expire in weeks. Because I'm enterprising girl, I can't let so much food to waste. So, is anyone could recommend me nice recipes using oyster sauce? I'll be grateful :3.

I mix oyster sauce through stir fried vegetables, especially asian green vegetables. Quick, easy and tasty.

I use it with most beef... Even in my "spag bol" which isn't technically Bolognese, but you know what I mean surely haha!

When I'm home, I like to saute pork riblets with oyster sauce and season with pepper to taste. You could also try a little with diced chicken breasts as well. This goes nicely a salad!

I make a modified version of Tom Yum Goong that uses fish sauce.

2-3 cups chicken broth
3 cloves garlic (sliced)
pinch of red pepper flakes
sesame oil (1 tablespoon)
fresh ground black pepper
2 tablespoons fish sauce
2 tablespoons sugar (white granulated)
grated ginger (about 1 tablespoon)
green onions
bok choy

add broth, fish sauce, garlic, ginger, sugar, red pepperflakes and sesame oil in a pot, bring to a boil. add bok choy, mushrooms and wontons. cook for 5 mins then add shrimp and green onions. wait till shrimp are finished cooking and take off burner and serve!!

absolutely delicious!! and perfect for cold fall nights.

We use oyster sauce often in Hawaii. Three very popular and savory dishes are: Chicken Long Rice, a standard at luaus. Basically: bean thread noodle, ginger, chicken stock, white chicken meat, soy sauce and green onions. The secret of a famous fish market here was that they added generous amounts of oyster sauce instead of the soy sauce. Another dish is Chinese steamed whole fish with black bean sauce. My favorite though is an "umami-filled" hot-pot of Chinese lup cheung sausages, chicken, shiitake with black bean sauce. These Hawaii recipes are online or I could post them if desired.

Chicken Long Rice

3 - 4 pound chicken
2 cloves garlic, skin removed, mashed
2 inch piece ginger, skin removed, mashed
1 green onion (scallion) stalk chopped
1 4-ounce bundle oriental vermicelli (cellophane or bead thread noodle) 
1/4 cup oyster sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
dash pepper
dash sugar

Cover dry vermicelli with warm water and let stand for 1/2 hour

In large pot cover chicken with water, add garlic, ginger and simmer until chicken is tender. Discard the ginger and garlic.  Remove the chicken from the broth and cool.  Skim and discard some of the chicken fat.  Shred chicken, discard the skin and bones.

Cut the noodles into 4 inch lengths. Add noodles, scallions to chicken broth with oyster and soy sauce.  Simmer for 15 minutes. Correct seasoning, adding pepper and sugar to taste.  Add boned chicken and serve in individual bowls.
