I'm 18 years old and I'm so excited to start using a bento box. For me it's not just eating in a different container- It's... actually eating a lunch! Lunch for me has always been a thing to dread. I survived just these past two years eating only apple slices, grapes and diet Coke for lunch. I was not a happy camper and would stuff my face as soon as I got home. It was awful!
I have about 10 extra pounds I want to lose- but in a healthy way, one that I will be able to stick with the rest of my life. I already made some big changes like switching my usual bowl of sugary cereal for reduced sugar oatmeal, switching my beloved but unhealthy Diet Cokes for tea or water, and switching my usual snacky foods for apples and bananas. I exercise and I eat pretty well- I just need to work on not snacking too much! Planning and eating a lunch will definetely help me, and the fact that my Bento box is so adorable will keep me from feeling self conscious (though I'm 18 now, and getting to the point where I really don't care what others think!)
I'm glad I found this site and I hope to make some new friends from all over the world on here.
