Re: Flower carrot cutters

I have a set of metal cookie cutters that's really good for that sort of thing. It's a round tin with 3 sizes each of hearts, rectangles, flowers, circles and some other things I can't remember. The smallest of each is easily small enough to use for carrots. I've tried to find it on Amazon to post a link, but I can't. They're not old though, so you should be able to find them somewhere - a good kitchen shop is where I'd look. Or something like these would do quite well.

Re: Flower carrot cutters

Go to a craft store (we have ACMoore and Michael's here in the states) and go to the bead-making aisle. Where the fimo clay is there will probably be some tiny metal cutters. I'm waiting for them to get them back in stock :(

Re: Flower carrot cutters

Without cutters, you can take a section of peeled carrot and use a paring knife to cut grooves down the length of the carrot to a flower shape. You can then slice it thinly to make flower shapes. But they might not be as pretty or as xonsistent as using a proper cuter, of course...
