A quick note for email subscribers

Just a few notes for people who are subscribed to this site by email (everyone else, just move along):

  • The email is automatically sent out to you via the Feedburner service.
  • I don’t have control really over how or when it’s delivered to you. I also can’t answer questions like “why don’t the images show up” (my guess is that it has something to do with the way you’ve set up your Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail, Gmail, etc., but I can’t be sure.)
  • Replying to the emails you get won’t really help to get you any kind of timely response, since I don’t check the email sent to the address you see it coming from for day, or even weeks at a time. The best way to ask questions about the article you see or participate in the discussion is to click through to the article page (by clicking on the title) and leaving a comment.
  • If you have any questions…please don’t send a reply to this email, click through to the article page (see above :))

Re: A quick note for email subscribers

I'm not an email subscriber, but I do subscribe to your feed. You may not be aware that images do not appear in your feed, either. It's possible that if you fix one, you'll have fixed the other.

Re: A quick note for email subscribers

Hmm, I subscribe to my own feeds for testing purposes, and I see the images fine. What reader are you using?

Re: A quick note for email subscribers

I use Bloglines.

Re: A quick note for email subscribers

I think I have fixed that now!

Re: A quick note for email subscribers

Good to know--I'll let you know if it works on my end.

One other site note--I asked to be notified of new comments on this thread but received no notification for either of your new comments.

Re: A quick note for email subscribers

Just got your latest post in Bloglines--with images. Good job!
