Sashiko Supplies in the US?

I have a lovely book on sashiko embroidery - but no real sashiko supplies to try it with. I'll tinker with my cotton embroidery thread and thick needle until I can find the real thing. But does anyone know of a US based supplier for the thread, needles, thimble, premarked patterns/fabric (for a beginner), etc.?

Hi Avlor - Purl Soho sells sashiko thread, needles, kits with pre-printed fabric and so on - link here. The Olympus brand that they carry is one of the better known craft kit companies in Japan. You can also just use embroidery thread to do sashiko too, either the loose strand type or the twisted-thread type, on plain cotton fabric. Have fun!
