Hello!
I bought this bag of lotus root just before Christmas, and I have no idea how long it lasts. I'd tried buying fresh lotus root, but around here I'd only found really beat up, bruised, shriveled ones, so I reckoned I'd try this. However, I'm wondering how long it keeps!

I don't see a sell by date, but they look ok. You will want to blanch them briefly after you've taken them out of the bag and drained them, before you use them in stir fries, salads etc. (FWIW they seem to be packaged for the Korean market, since all the explanation parts are in Korean, but they also say 'renkon' (Japanese for lotus root) on them in Japanese on the front, have the standard U.S. nutrition label, and are made in China! International lotus roots.:))
