Hi from New Zealand

I have been enjoying this site for over a year so I guess I should really say hello. I am not sure how I found it. I think I must have been Googling for a recipe and chanced upon it. Anyway I bookmarked it and kept revisiting it for great recipes. Then I registered so I could have a list of my favourites or ideas I wanted to go back to. I have had enormous pleasure both from reading Maki's commentary and from trying the recipes. I don't actually make obento lunches. Both my husband and I are retired, but the ideas work well for lunches anyway and when cooking for only two the freezer-friendly recipes are great. I live in rural New Zealand so some ingredients are not easy to get but I stock up on what I can when I visit the city. Thanks Maki for a great site and delicious ideas.
