Hey all! (or should I say y'all, to sound more authentic? XD )
I'm Neveth, I live in the sea of 'burbs surrounding Dallas, TX.
I love Japanese stuff in general and bento is such a nice way of spicing up what I eat. I get into mealtime ruts so bento at least lets me change things up day to day even if I do end up eating the same stuff every week.

The appropriate reply, in New Zealand-ish, would be something like "G'day mate, how'r'ya doin'?" Welcome to the forum.

Howdy!
I'm new to making bento, but I LOVE how the japanese eat. so good AND so healthy. I'm currently a student at Texas A&M but my family lives around the "'burbs of Dallas" as you so lovingly refer to them as. :D
:D
Sooo good and healthy!
My favorite are the 2nd generation 'burbs, the ones that have another 'burb between them and Dallas proper.
:D Thankee!
I see. like Plano, Garland, Rowlett, Rockwall and the like? or are those cities even too close for what you're describing.
I didn't live there for too long but I did like the community I was in! do you have to commute into Dallas for work?
