Hi Maki,
I have been intrigued by people's bentos with their cherry tomatoe flowers. I have tried searching and have not found a site that shows how to make them.
Would you know how to make them? If so, please can you share with us...

Hmm, there are several ways of cutting tomatoes. Do you have a link to a page that shows a pic?

Hi Maki,
I have seen an egg version too:

I've got a (very seventies) plastic cutting tool called " classy cutter" to make these. very easy actually. You can find 'em on ebay:

Thanks mirjam, but does anyone know how to do them without having to buy this equipment? - Like just using a knife
I'll try to do a closeup step by step tutorial sometimes, but in the meantime maybe this will help - radish tulips (scroll down a bit)

Basically you just make little zigzag incisions around the middle of any round veg or fruit or egg with a small, sharp knife.
Thanks Maki, I will have a try at it!
