Hello everyone,

I'm an engineering student, and I have an internship with the United States Department of Transportation over the summer. Despite Obama's new stimulus plan, my pleas to have my work vehicle upgraded will most likely remain unanswered. I, along with my packed lunch, will stew inside an old pick-up truck without a working AC unit. My lunch will typically remain inside the truck at 90 degrees F for several hours before I eat it.

Does anybody know some spoilage-resistant recipes to give me a respite from PB&J sandwiches this summer? Any other tips on avoiding spoilage? continue reading...
